The Future

Where the field is going

Scattering data (both synchrotoron or neutron) is being developed at an incredible pace. In the next few years, single molecule x-ray diffraction may become possible. Unprecedented resolution on standard systems will be available. The future of the field will be the synthesis of this high level scattering data into a single form -- a form which can be visualised and interpreted by materials scientists and engineers in their pursuit of bio and nanotechnology goals.
